- Need confirmation of your typing speed for possible employment? You can take a typing test at Academy of Learning for $100.00 and you will receive an official letter confirming your speed.
- Do you want credit for your prior training or knowledge? Challenge an exam for $100.00 and you do not have to pay the full tuition for the course you have written the exam for. For example: You know Microsoft Word fairly well and want to start at level 3. These three courses have the combination price of $845.00. If you were to challenge level 1 and 2 it would cost you $200.00 for the two exams plus the level 3 cost at $351.00. This is a savings of $294.00. We are the only school in Kamloops that offers you an actual financial savings for your prior knowledge. (Please note: certificates are not issued for challenged exams).
- Earn awards for your success. If you pass a Microsoft Office Specialist exam you receive a golden star pin.
- If you get 90% or more on an exam, you join the 90+ Club and have an opportunity to win prizes.
