About

Academy of Learning, Kamloops is part of a national franchise including locations in Canada, the United States, Barbados, Australia, South Africa, and many other countries.

The Kamloops location was opened in November of 1993 with a location at 236 St. Paul's Street. Past owner, Carol Crawford and her business partner, opened the centre with one additional staff member and six computers. The following year the school was re-located to present location at 699 Victoria Street with 12 computers and additional staff. This new location offers street access, lots of natural light, and bright clean surroundings.

The school continues to florish during it's 12 year tenure and offers a variety of diploma programs, certificate programs, and individual courses.

Over the years the Academy of Learning, Kamloops has established an excellent reputation for providing quality post education in our community with both students and employers alike.

Academy of Learning was the first private career collage to be appointed as accredited by Private Post Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia and has maintained this status to date.

Having won the prestigious READERS CHOICE AWARD for five consecutive years in a row, with the Kamloops Daily News is something the school is very proud of.

We also support charities of all sorts on a regular basis including Habitat for Humanity, the SPCA, the Canadian Cancer Society, BC Disability Sports, Cerebral Palsy Organization, the White King Club, MADD Canada, the Canadian Burn Foundation, the Missing Child Association and many more.
